Which Dygo soap is most suitable for your skin type?

Sometimes it is difficult to decide which Dygo soap to choose. That is why we created this guide to make it easier.

Disclaimer! We are not claiming that our soaps have any sort of healing or medicinal effect; this guide is made using commonly known information about the properties of ingredients we use in our soap recipes!

Lavender meadows soap

Lavender meadows soap is filled with soothing and skin-softening organic cocoa butter, which is a perfect ingredient for people with dry and delicate skin. Kaolin clay helps gently purify the skin by eliminating oils and impurities. Lavender essential oil is one of the most mild scents suitable even for sensitive noses. (Recommended for “normal”, dry and sensitive skins)

River soap

River soap is full of oats, it is made with oat milk and oat flour. Oats is considered to have hypoallergenic properties and is very soothing, which makes river soap a perfect choice for people with sensitive skin. Almond oil is skin conditioning and rich in the antioxidant vitamin E, which makes it ideal for dry and mature skin. River soap doesn’t not contain any essential oils! (Recommended for dry and sensitive skins)

Mountain soap

Mountain soap contains rhassoul clay which has been used for washing and drawing out impurities of the skin for centuries. Rhassoul clay is full of silica and magnesium which makes it very effective for skin treatments. Red clay brings a deep red colour to the soap and contributes to the cleaning and purifying abilities of the soap. (Recommended for “normal” and oily skins)

Desert soap

Desert soap is the most moisturising soap bar in Dygo’s range. Cocoa butter protects from dehydration and improves skin elasticity. Yellow clay gives an earthy yellow colour to the soap. It is considered a mild clay which can be used on dry and sensitive skin. It helps to gently cleanse the skin’s impurities. (Recommended for dry skin)

Forest soap

Forest soap is powered with green clay which works as an exfoliator and helps to remove oils and impurities of the skin. Another important ingredient is nettle powder, which is rich in Vitamins A, B, C & E as well as chlorophyll, silica and magnesium. Nettle is a powerful plant, it has been used for many centuries for skin and hair care. A fresh, woody scent is given by a blend of pine, cypress and patchouli essential oils, which are known for their antibacterial, uplifting and stimulating effects. (Recommended for “normal” and oily skins)

Sea soap

Sea soap is enriched with hemp oil, which has a regenerative, soothing effect on irritated and stressed skin. A blend of peppermint and lemongrass essential oils creates a fresh, minty and deep citrusy smell. These essential oils are also known for their cooling, stimulating, antibacterial and toning properties. (Recommended for “normal” skin)

Summer fields

Summer fields soap is made using olive oil infused with calendula flowers. They have soothing, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Calendula helps to make a very mild soap bar suitable for most skin types. Carrot juice is full of beta carotene, Vitamin A and antioxidants. (recommended for dry and sensitive skins)

All Dygo soaps share a common base recipe which includes olive and castor oils, coconut and shea butters to create a well balanced, long lasting bar of soap with fluffy lather to cleanse and at the same time nourish your skin. Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant to protect superfat oils from getting spoiled.
