Dygo solid shampoo bars are packed with plant powders, clays and have a somewhat rustic look. The idea behind them is to combine ancient knowledge with a modern approach towards cosmetics. The choice of most ingredients was inspired by geographical directions (looking from Europe), this is how North, West, South and East were born.
North shampoo is packed with nettle and marshmallow (althaea officinalis) root powders. Both of these plants are well known in the northern hemisphere and have been used for centuries for hair care. Nettle powder is a natural hair fortifier as it is rich in minerals and vitamins. It helps against dandruff and restores natural hair beauty. Marshmallow softens and works as a conditioner for the hair.
Green clay purifies and cleanses the scalp and helps to fight dandruff.
A powerful mixture of nordic hemp seed and rapeseed oils contributes to the moisturising and conditioning properties of the shampoo bar. Hemp oil nurtures the hair. Rapeseed has great slip and spreadability characteristics making the hair easier to comb.
A blend of peppermint, lavender and red orange essential oils gives a cooling and refreshing effect to the North shampoo bar!

/ Dygo shampoo bars are formulated using SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) which is derived from coconut oil. It is naturally low in pH, which makes it perfect for hair care. It is very mild and helps to gently clean the hair, and also creates beautiful white bubbles.
/ To balance the modern formulation we add plants, which have a long tradition of being used in hair care. Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) infusion strengthens the hair and has been used to stimulate hair growth due to its high content of silica.
/ Corn starch and Agar Agar (natural algae) help to bind the powders together and adds conditioning properties.
/ Active hair conditioning ingredients such as rice protein, vegetable glycerin and panthenol protect, give shine and nurture the hair.
